Our Areas of Practice:

OPIOID Dependency

The opioid epidemic has swept across our country and has shattered countless lives. We are on the front line fighting this battle every day. For you. Using evidence-based treatment strategies, we customize a plan to help you beat narcotic addiction from pain pills to heroin. Our program uses proven medications that can help you control drug cravings, drug seeking behavior, and withdrawal symptoms. We integrate counseling into every session so that you can share your experiences and become empowered for healing. We go at your pace -  because every patient is unique.

polysubstance use disorder

Often a patient will have more than one addiction. We understand this because we understand the neurobiology of the disease. While others may say that addiction is a moral failure of character, we know good people suffer from addiction every day and they often suffer from multiple addictions. In our program we look at all forms of addiction and create strategies that allow you to tackle all of them. Whether you suffer from benzodiazepine addiction or cannabis use disorder or multiple combinations of addiction, we can help you with a treatment strategy - that is unique to you.

alcohol use disorder

Most people who suffer from alcohol abuse do so in silence. They often have difficulty with their job, family, or friends. Alcohol abuse has serious consequences such as liver failure and withdrawal seizures that can be fatal. You'll engage in one-on-one sessions with a physician who will help you understand the complexity of your disease and develop a customized plan to keep you from harm and help you achieve sobriety. Alcohol use disorder can be fatal. Getting help early can literally save your life.

medical counseling

Every session with one of our physicians is un-rushed and includes medical counseling. Some patients require longer sessions than others. Each session is customized to your needs without rushing you through the process. We believe in talk therapy and self-development as one of the pillars towards recovery. Patients often engage in discussions that yield important insights into their behavior and begin to develop strategies to address important relapse triggers. The session you have with your doctor is just as important as any medication you may take. Let's make it worth your time.

nicotine dependency

Nicotine is perhaps one of the most addictive legal substances available. And that makes it one of the hardest to quit. The consequences of continued tobacco use are clear: cancer, COPD, and early death to name a few. But there is help. New medications and treatment strategies can help you overcome nicotine dependence. Some patients can even break their addiction in a matter of weeks with the proper treatment plan. If you're trying to give up nicotine and find it difficult to do so, let us help you get there.

dual diagnosis treatment

Depression and other psychiatric disturbances often occur in the patient suffering from addiction. Unlike other practices that take a singular approach to your treatment, we want to know about your overall well being. We will often work with your other doctors such as your primary care doctor and/or psychiatrist to build an approach that tries to reflect other conditions that you may suffer from. For example, many patients with addiction suffer from depression or sleep disorders. We don't ignore these factors in your treatment plan; we work on them together.
